The Tachyon rubber outsole provides superior traction on any terrain and is slip-resistant for added utility. An EVA midsole absorbs shock for softer landings, and the open cell polyurethane footbed promotes ventilation. The speed lace system makes taking the boot on and off easy, but still maintains a secure, comfortable fit. The nylon shank delivers torsional rigidity and heel security as well.
